Clinical Approach

Clinically, Dr. Lee specializes in working with high-functioning adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, burnout, mood disorders, OCD, reproductive mental health concerns, and life transitions. She provides neurodiversity-affirming psychiatric care for neurodivergent individuals, honoring patients' lived experiences while helping them better understand their unique cognitive strengths, executive functioning challenges, and patterns of resilience.

Her approach emphasizes whole-person care, combining evidence-based psychiatry with psychotherapy, lifestyle interventions, thoughtful medication management, de-prescribing when appropriate, and interventional psychiatry.

Dr. Lee has particular expertise in caring for medically and psychiatrically complex patients, including individuals with chronic medical conditions, overlapping psychiatric diagnoses, treatment-resistant symptoms, and complex diagnostic presentations. She is known for her thorough, collaborative approach and her ability to help patients make sense of difficult clinical situations that may not fit neatly into a single diagnosis.

As a high-achieving working mother of two young children, Dr. Lee is passionate about supporting professionals in demanding roles, including physicians, healthcare workers, executives, entrepreneurs, and caregivers. She works primarily with adults age 18 and older and also sees select older adolescents ages 16–17 who are preparing for the transition into adulthood.

Beyond Clinical Care

In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Lee is the Founding Director of Operations and Executive Producer of Parent Playbook for Stanford CHIPAO, a nationally recognized program that uses culturally tailored theatrical vignettes to promote mental health education and strengthen communication across generations. She is also a national speaker and media contributor, with features in NPR, KQED, KTSF, and the San Francisco Chronicle, where she speaks on stigma reduction, culturally responsive care, physician well-being, and community-based approaches to mental health.

Dr. Lee is the founder and CEO of Resera Health, a modern psychiatry and consulting practice providing confidential, neuro-affirming, evidence-based psychiatric care, executive mindset coaching, and educational programs designed to expand access to high-quality mental health care. In addition to direct clinical services, she develops practical, evidence-based courses for primary care providers, therapists, healthcare organizations, and multidisciplinary teams, covering topics such as psychopharmacology, collaborative care, neurodiversity-affirming practice, and real-world clinical decision-making.

Her vision is to transform mental health care by moving beyond reactive models toward proactive, relationship-centered systems that empower both patients and providers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to deliver better care without relying on any one individual as the bottleneck to progress.
